The real reason to stay here is to enjoy the views overlooking the runway at St Martin airport. Otherwise, this hotel is very average. Breakfast extremely bland.

A really nice treat if you fancy splashing out, but once the wow factor sinks in, there is no great reason to want to come back here and stay as a guest. Far easier to stay somewhere else, but pop into the Long Bar from time to time

This hotel is listed as the “Royal Antiguan All Inclusive”, but only in the small print does it say that “breakfast is not included. Fortunately, I am only here for one night, and don’t even get to see this monstrosity in daylight, as I am heading over to St. Martin very early the next day.

If there was a trades descriptions act covering hotel  names, then this one would be a very serious offender. As a transit hotel, it just about sufficed, but the reality is that at the Royal Antiguan, nothing is inclusive, and this hotel is not remotely exclusive either!

The food is amongst the worst I have ever had to endure in a hotel - yet the compound is miles away from anywhere, so forget about nipping out across the road to find alternative options.

The only reason to stay here should be because you are about to move on to somewhere far more comfortable the next day, but need to make an overnight stop following a long flight to Antigua. Even on this basis, there are other hotels out there which are closer to the airport, and not quite so basic.
